    In my case my “Aadhar is already verified”: My aadhar has got my father’s name properly registered but not my UAN EPF. Do I need to go for joint request?

    My name is wrong on epf receipt. How we can correct this. My name is Achchhe lal Dhuriya but on the receipt, it’s mentioned as ACHNELAL DHURI.
    Please guide me what can I do in my case?

      1. Go to UAN Unified Portal
      2. Log in using your UAN and password
      3. Now, click on the MANAGE tab from the main menu section
      4. A drop-down menu will appear from which select MODIFY BASIC DETAILS
      5. Enter your correct details in respective fields
      6. Hit UPDATE DETAILS
      7. Now your request will be transferred to your employer for further approvals
      8. Then, Employer will transfer this request to EPFO where the Official authorities will make changes in your wrong details.

          The request that you make will automatically transfer to the employer for further approvals. The employer will have to approve it and forward it to the regional EPF office (online) so the EPF authorities will make corrections.

    I’m facing PAN unverified issue and im not able to modify the details, as it says “Aadhar is already verified”

    My name on the PAN is “Sarbjeet Kaur” and name on Aadhar is “Sarabjeet Kaur”.

    Name as per Aadhar is correct. What should I do?

    My UAN is verified by aadhar and the PAN is also approved by establishment , but when I am updating my PAN online I am getting error Name against UAN doesnot match name with Income Tax Department.

    Also I see . after my name in UAN ?

    I cannot edit my name as my aadhaar is verified.

    I have submitted the online request for Name Change through Modify Basic Request. But, from last 15 days, it’s show accepted by the employer but pending at pf field office.
    Please suggest what can i do? and how much time they will take to update my details.

      There is no such deadline for updating from field officer side. Sometimes it takes more then 20 days to update the same. You can contact the EPFO technical team by mailing at employeefeedback@epfindia.gov.in

  6. Hello EPFO Scheme team,

    Am receiving “Pan verfication failed. (Name against UAN does not match with the NAME in Income Tax Department)”. My doubt is on my UAN card my name displays as “Ms. RENTALA INDRANI” but in my PAN card “RENTALA INDRANI”. I cannot edit my name in unified portal since my aadhaar is already verified. Since prefix “Ms” is added in my name under UAN card causing the issue. Please suggest me how to proceed further.

    I am Cinthiya Preethi I left my previous company before 2 years my DOB is incorrect , so couldnt avail my pf. i have submitted Joint declaration form but it has been rejected as my Aadhar card not feeded into my account. As my DOB is incorrect i couldnt upload my Aadhar card . Kindly guide me.

      You should follow the steps given on this page in order to update your Date of Bith, If you are unable to update the same. Once you follow these steps your filled details will be then scanned with your UIDAI data. as we mentioned that “If the visitor didn’t link his/her Aadhaar with their Universal Account Number, they can also provide the details here”.
      Follow those steps and if it doesn’t work, Please let us know.

    Good Evening My KYC is not updated My DOB is Miss match.
    many time contact in Office where I worked and also contacted in EPF Head office but no reply

      You can update your Father’s name by filing a form named “Joint Declaration Form” in which you and your employer’s signature both are mandatory. once you fill the form send it to PF authorities so they can make changes.

  13. My name registered in the UAN portal and ADHAR card as SATISH KUMAR.T
    My name registered in PAN card and PASSPORT as SATISHKUMAR.T

    The only problem here is the space between SATISHKUMAR.T and SATISH KUMAR.T

    I get the below error : “PAN Verification Failed(Name against UAN does not match with the Name in Income TAX Department)”

    My ADHAR is not updated in the KYC.

    Correct name is as passport & PAN card details without spaces.

    How to solve the problem???

      You can simply change/update your name in EPF details. Once you update your name in EPF details the error will be solved by default. In order to change your name, You only have to follow the steps given on this page.

  14. When I go for update pan card in KYC I cant do it. This massage is display ” pan verification failed ( name against UAN does not match with name in income tax department )
    I already checked my name in income tax department .. but not taken in PF portal same as.

      Have you matched your PAN Name with the name registered in the EPFO? because sometimes the member’s name registered with the EPFO / UAN is wrong and one can simply solve the error by updating their name in his/her EPF Account.     I have my gender wrong in the UAN portal. I have already linked Aadhar to the UAN. I tried correcting it. But there was error saying “Aadhaar is already verified. Your details aren’t editable”. Then with my previous employer I have submitted a joint declaration for changing basic details. Now I can edit my details in ” Manage>Modify Basic Details “. But when I say update Still I am still getting an error saying “AADHAAR is already verified in unified portal. Your details is not editable”
    What can I do now ?

  18. Hi, I am getting an error while updating my PAN details, It says “ERROR WITH PAN AUTHENTICATION, COULD NOT SEND MESSAGE”. The name on all the documents and EPF UAN portal is correct which is ” NIMISHA”.

    This is Vinoth Kumar J and My Permanent Account Number (PAN) is not verified in EPF portal, I am getting this error while updating the PAN details(Error while PAN authentication. Could not send Message. ). So, In that case need to submit manual withdraw form to get my PF amount, Now a days the manual PF withdraw form is not process by employer side.

    1. I have verified my details with the income tax department and they have confirmed that my Aadhar and Pan are linked.
    2. In regards to Epfo, my aadhar card is already linked by my employer, So am unable to correct my name in EPF Portal, Kindly check and revert.

    I tried to modify the name as per Aadhar, however my PAN card name and other details were different, so changed my Aadhar name.
    In this case, I tried to update new Aadhar details and I get ”Aadhar is already verified and cannot be editable” , Please help me how to reset back to my previous name as I now changed to the previous name itself and want to cancel previous request. Please its urgent as I want to link my pf account

  24. My name in UAN portal is reversed. To correct my name I will submit the joint declaration form through my employer.
