  1. in uan kyc employer approved my pan card, aadhar,and bank details with ifsc code, but suddenly my bank ifsc and bank name changed. again i want to go to uan kyc and change the new ifsc and bank name or just i want to change all my previous documents like pan card, aadhar card also to change. pls help me.

      In my bank account and aadhaar ID & according to my company’s information my name is “LLOYD RAJKUMAR G” but in my PAN card my name is as “LLOYD RAJKUMAR” without my initial G, would my PF claim be rejected due to my initial not reflecting in my PAN card. i have only updated my bank & aadhar details in my UAN portal. Please help me Sir

        When we link our personal details with EPFO database, Firstly it will not show any error but during the time of PF withdrawal or online claim, this little issues become major. So, we recommend you to update your PAN details first, then update the correct PAN details with EPFO database after that you can easily withdraw your PF fund without any issue.

    I have submitted PF Withdrawal form on 15th September by speed post and on 6th October by hand to EPFO Office Wazirpur Delhi. Its showing from 8th October that your claim under process till today I have not get money to credit my account. what is the next step to resolve the issue ?

      Contact your banker and ask about your bank IFSC code. Remember, Only fill IFSC code of that bank which you have linked to your EPF account. When you get your IFSC code, update your details by following the process given in this article.

            in My AADHAAR my full name along with expanded surname is there. But in PAN , on the card only Surname and First name is printed as it was taken in 2007 and that time Income Tax Dept has put a limit on no of characters that could be printed on the Physical PAN Card. But in Income Tax records my full name is there.
            Similiarly my surname Lingambhotla is only there as initial in Bank account.
            So , PAN , Printed on Card, LINGAMBHOTLA MOHAN,
            in IT Dept Records, LINGAMBHOTLA MOHAN SESHU KUMAR,
            in Bank,Salary Account, MOHAN SESHU KUMAR L,
            and in AADHAAR , LINGAMBHOTLA MOHAN SESHU KUMAR,
            and presently, when I try to link PAN to UAN,using KYC, it is giving message name mismatch of AADHAAR and PAN.
            Both when I give the name on card(LINGAMBHOTLA MOHAN), and when I give IT Dept name (Same as AADHAAR ( LINGAMBHOTLA MOHAN SESHU KUMAR))also.
            Please suggest a solution.

            Actually when I logged in to IT Dept login using my PAN and password it is showing my name as MOHAN SESHU KUMAR LINGAMBHOTLA, as normally for most people Surname comes in Last, or they call it as Last name, but most Telugu speaking people, keep Surname in the front of the name, and I too did, and that is the reason, On AADHAAR name is
            LINGAMBHOTLA MOHAN SESHU KUMAR,
            where as, in IT Dept records, it is,
            MOHAN SESHU KUMAR LINGAMBHOTLA,
            and that probably is giving name mismatch in KYC in UAN Website.
            If I apply to IT Dept, to change name, they may still keep the Surname last,
            which will again bring this issue to starting position.
            Please suggest a solution

      Yes, you can. If you have applied for claiming your PF Corpus and withdrawal benefits in a proper format, it should be settled and credited to your bank account within 20 days of receipt of your claim by EPFO.

      After uploading your employer has to approve the KYC. Your employer needs the digital signature in order to authorize your KYC. It will take approximately 48-72 hours to change the approval status in the system. The information shall be verified from appropriate authorities by the system.

      Approach your employer with originals of the documents for online attestation. If he does not comply, request in writing with a copy marked to jurisdictional PF Office. Still after 15 days, if no response is received, lodge your grievance on epfigms.gov.in

      After uploading the required documents the employer has to approve the same. The employer will authorize your KYC with the use of his/her digital signature. The approximately time to change the approval status in the system is at-least 48-72 hours. The information shall be verified from appropriate authorities by the system.

      You should approach your current employer with original documents in order to get online attestation. But, If he/she doesn’t give any response, You can request in writing with a copy marked to jurisdictional PF Office.

      It’s employers responsibility to approve the same. you can request your employer for approval and if you didn’t get any response still after 15 days, you can file a grievance against your employer.

      The Employer can update your correct details using the given facility of Employer portal by EPFO or he/she can also send an Employee’s Bank details change request to the EPF-Regional Office with the organisation’s stamp on the request letter.

But under Verification status Bank Account details is showing as N/A although it has been verified by my previous employer. But for PAN and AADHAR the verification status is showing as verified.       You can update your Bank details in UAN Unified Portal with correct IFSC code. Then make it approved by your employer. Then wait for updation from official EPFO Authorities.

    • Solving PAN verification failed error in unified Portal is not so hard. You just have to change your name as mentioned on your PAN card. But sometimes, The name mentioned in the PAN card is also incorrect. So, in that case, you should correct your name on PAN card. Use the given link in order to change your name on your PAN Card. Click Here

      But, in most cases the name registered in the EPF portal is incorrect. In that case, You have to correct your name in EPF portal by filling an online request to EPFO in order to update your correct name in EPF Database. Once the name corrected then we can able to solve PAN verification failed error in UAN.

        My Aadhar number, Bank details and PAN were digitally verified by my previous employer and were appearing under approved KYC. A few days ago, I got an error message stating “PAN Verification Failed”.
        So I corrected my name on PAN card and ensured that all three documents have the same name on UAN as ‘Arun Kumar’.
        I still have the Pan verification failed. (Name against UAN does not match with the NAME in Income Tax Department) message showing up on my UAN online account. Please help as I am now unemployed for 3 months and want to apply for my PF funds asap.

            Thank you for your response.

            I resolved my PAN verification failed message on UAN by doing this.

            The day i recieved my corrected PAN card, I once again uploaded my PAN details on UAN and surprisingly UAN did not throw the (Name mismatch error this time). I believe that’s probably because my name was corrected on the IT dept. database.
            I then sent an email to my last employer requesting them to once again approve my PAN on UAN which was instantly verified. Now on UAN, under approved KYC i have my PAN number listed twice, one showing unverified and the other showing as verified by IT Dept.

            I applied for my PF online and received the funds on the 16th day from the claim date.

Yesterday i got an SMS, But the PF amount did not completely transfer. PF Amount is less then I expected. Please suggest me, What can i do?

      We suggest you wait for some days. Usually, there are 2 different type of amounts, one is the PF and the other one is for the pension. When you see that both the amounts are credited but the amount is still less, Then you can complaint that the amount credited to your account is less.

      You should again request for your bank details updation in the UAN portal by following the steps we have given. After approval, wait until your Pending KYC approved successfully.
      Please Note: While requesting for your re-updation in bank details kindly double check your IFSC code OR visit your bank branch the one in which you have your bank account and ask them for their IFSC code and update the same during the Bank Account KYC updation in EPF.

      This issue is growing day by day in other PF member’s account as well. We recommend you to directly visit your regional office OR you can wait till they respond. As it was announced by Prime Minister that PF Claims must be settled within 20 days. You can read more HERE.

    I left my previous company & my previous company employer didnot update my bank a/c details. now i join a new company and want to withdraw my previous company PF. But when i click on claims button its shows that update your current bank details. And when i update the bank details as mentioned above through KYC button & even clicking on Save button, the bank a/c details which i entered shows in digitally approved KYC and in this column at the end online verification status shows N/A. and request send to my current employer automatically
    in this case what should i do? do i need to contact my previous employee or the current employee. Or is it any other way out through which i need not to connect any of my employer.

      Yes, EPFO has made it easy that you can now withdraw your PF amount online anywhere in India. Though, it is a quite easy process. all you have to do is follow the steps given below to withdraw PF online.

      • Visit the UAN member portal.
      • Login using your UAN and password.
      • The thing that you should take care of is that the KYC status as Aadhaar should be approved and linked to your UAN.

    I have two UAN and EPF account number with different name, few years back i was joined in a company and their employer entered my name as wrongly later i tried to change my name in EPF office but that organization has no any person for authrise signature. After a working 05 year that company closed and later i joined in another organization here the company deduct my epf with true name and also linked my adhaar with biomatric process.     • Hello Arinjar,
      You have to again follow the same procedure in order to update the bank account number. Fill the form again with the correct bank details or the other bank details which you want to link with your EPF account. Approved the same by your employer and wait till the officials make changes.

  45. I have uploaded PAN AADHAR and banks details under KYC,
    all the details are approved but when i click on claim form it is giving me error
    “Please update your latest Bank account no. and valid IFSC details through your employer/Unified Portal.”

Hi i am Amit Nandi, i have resigned the job 3 yrs before, now i have withdraw my pf amount, but my company not updated my any type of kyc only mobile no., DOB is updated. right now i have linked UAN with my Adhar no through PF office Kolkata, but during online claim bank acount update required.       You can easily update your bank account using the online method.   55. Hi ,
    I have submitted online claim for PF withdrawal on 2 Feb , 2018.
    But the ifsc code for my bank account details is incorrect.
    I have corrected the same by following the instructions on this page.
    Now, will there be any issue , as the online claim has been submitted with wrong ifsc code ?

I updated all my details except bank account number and IFSC code. now i updated the bank details but it shows pending and it need to approved by my company, but my company not caring that and all because i resigned two before itself still they telling wait for more than 60 days then how they accept KYC and when i get my pf amount???
