Latest Update: Anyone else can hardly guess the fact that PF’s money is so important to the people of the profession. They take the money of PF only when they are very much needed. Now the government has made it mandatory to link the PF account with the Aadhar. By doing so, the subscribers will not need documentation requirements such as filling and depositing the form etc. Actually, the Aadhar works as KYC. Because of this, linking the Aadhar with PF ends many problems of people.
To avail all the facilities provided by Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), it is very important now for all the account holders to get their Aadhaar Card linked with their EPFO and UAN Account.
This decision made by the government has somehow worried the officials of the EPFO. Now EPFO is providing all the benefits to the deserving beneficiaries directly into their respective bank accounts.

✭ Under the EPF linking Aadhar is the biggest KYC document which itself contains your details such like :
- Date of Birth – DOB
✭ Merging multiple UAN Numbers into a single UAN can be possible and easy.

► A copy of the PAN Card (self-attested)
► One cancelled cheque of your account.
Note: With such information like Account holder’s name, Account Number, IFSC code, Branch code etc.
► A copy of the Aadhaar Card (self-attested)
► First Members have to go to the official website
► Now the official main page will be open onto your screen.
► Now on this page, you will find a section named “Our Services” in that section select and click onto the “For Employees”.
► A new page will now pop up and lead you to the next page where under “Services” section the members or visitors have to click on the “UAN Member e-sewa” link.
► When you click on the “UAN Member e-sewa” link you will redirect to the page (shown down below) This page is “Welcome Members” page, Here you will have to Login yourself in the login section asking you to enter your “UAN and Password”.
► After filling your UAN & Password click onto the “Sign In” button.
When the visitor logged in himself by filling the UAN number and Password the visitor’s home page will be open. Now, go to the “profile” section where you’ll find the link named “Update KYC information” click on that link.
► Here in the update KYC information section the visitors have to enter their PF Number in the “Current Member ID” filling the box, now after filling PF Number visitors should now upload their soft copies of all the documents as mentioned above.
► After successfully uploading all your required document you have to wait till you will get an approval that Linking successful.
REQUIRED TIME FOR UPDATING THE AADHAAR CARD DETAILS
When your Aadhaar details are successfully updated to the visitor’s PF account, normally it will take a time of 15 days to 20 days for successful submission
Under the EPFO it is mandatory to all the account holders/members to link their account with the unique Aadhar number. As well as in the Employees’ Pension Scheme it is also important to submit the Aadhar details to avail the benefits under EPS.

COMMON SERVICE CENTER (CSC)
The Employees Provident Fund Organisation has introduced the facility named “Aadhaar seeding application” with the support of the Common Service Centers (CSC) and CDAC. After this useful facility Aadhaar Seeding Application, Every member / Pensioner can now go to the nearby field offices of EPFO or CSC outlets with some ready documents like (UAN & Aadhaar) and can link the Aadhaar with the UAN.
Before going to your nearby field offices of EPFO or CSC outlets kindly keep this required documents ready, Such like :
∎ Universal Account Number (UAN)
∎ Copy of a PAN Card
∎ Copy of an Aadhar Card
∎ IFSC Code of given bank
∎ Account Number
HOW TO UPDATE AADHAR IN EPF/UAN PORTAL
► The first step for the members is to log in to the official portal.
► At the top of the page, you will see a menu in which there is a section named “MANAGE”
► Click on to the manage section and a drop-down menu will appear now click onto the “KYC” (as shown in the image down below)
► It will now lead you to the different page where you can find different sections for updating. Like, in this case, select the “AADHAAR” (as shown in the image down below)
► Now after selecting Aadhaar section it will give you the access to update your details such like :
- Document Number
- Name as per Document
► Now finally hit the save button. (as shown in the image down below)
Note: Once the member clicked the save button, It will show the Aadhaar under Pending KYC verification.
When the Employees provident fund organisation has decided to link aadhar with PF account, The biggest positive change has started for the employees because it covers many of the documents itself, and can use as a single identity for multiple facilities under EPFO.
