Reasons Behind PF Authorized Officers Signature Not Tallying:

The two reasons for rejected claim due employer signature not tallying are

  1. There is a time limit (validity) of each and every digital signature. So, If the validity of the employer’s digital signature expires, then you may get a message that your claim is rejected.
  2. In case, your current employer changed and someone other takes his place of PF authorized officer i.e employer. So, this can happen.

If one of these points matched with your situation than your PF claims will be rejected by EPFO.

What You Can Do When Your PF Claim Is Rejected Because Authorized Officers Signature Not Tallying

The member who raises a PF claim but it gets rejected due to this reason, then he/she will receive an SMS from Employee Provident Fund Organization that the claim is rejected due to signature not tallying of PF authorized officer.

The member can also check his/her claim status by going to epfigms.gov.in then after clicking on Know Your EPF Claim Status, The member can track the claim status.

When the employee raises a claim for PF Withdrawal there is a field in that form where the member has to fill his/her complete address. So, in case your claim is rejected, the PF withdrawal form will be sent back to the employer.

Authorized Officer/Employer Changes

There are other options available for an employee when their claims get rejected, But in this case, the power isn’t in the employee’s hand.

In case your claim is rejected because of the expiration of employer’s digital signature then the employer has to renew his/her digital signature and should give back the rejected claim to the employee.
