How To Download My Eaadhar Card Online?
UIDAI has finally been up with its e- aadhaar portal from where people who had already registered for their Aadhaar & had been waiting for soo long can now easily download their Aadhaar letter online by using the provided Aadhaar number.
To download your Aadhaar Card, it is essential that one should have their both associated registration or Enrollment slip which contains the Enrollment ID along with the Date & Time of enrollment process. use both of them for downloading your eaadhar card online in just a few steps.
Step1: Firstly you need to visit the official website of UIDAI i.e; www.eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
Step2: Click on “Download Aadhaar Card”.
Step3: After clicking on the provided link, a new page will access where you will find two choices either to download your Aadhaar Card using the Aadhaar Number or through the Enrollment ID by selecting the dot available in front of the two.
Please Note- You must make sure that whichever option you choose is available to you.
Step4: Now a form is displayed in front of you from where you have to fill up all the details required for downloading your Aadhaar card which includes:
- Full Name
- 6- digits Pin Code
- 14- digits Enrollment Number
- Date- time of enrollment
- Mobile Number
- Captcha Code (image text)
Please Note- After entering the personal details, go through your details thoroughly before moving forward to the next steps.
Step5: After completing the above process, click on the “Get One Time Password”.
Step6: Your One Time Password (OTP) will be generated and you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and after that click on “Validate & Download” button.
Step8: After following & completing all the above process, you will be provided with the link from where you can download your E- Aadhaar Card in a pdf format. To open your protected pdf file, you just need to enter your password which is nothing but your “Pincode” that you had mentioned earlier.
How To Link Aadhaar With PAN Card? How To Check Aadhar Linking Status?
According to some financial reports, it is suspected that income tax departments will not be proceeding the returns until and unless Aadhaar and PAN (Permanent Account Number) are linked.
Latest News- The deadline for linking Aadhaar Card with PAN Card (10- digits alphanumeric number) was further extended to 31st March 2018 which was initially 31st December 2017 to facilitate the process of linking.

Step1: Visit the official website www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
Step2: At the left sidebar of the website, a section of quick links are available. Click on the topmost link – Link Aadhaar
Step3: A form will be displayed followed by the
- Aadhaar Number
- Name As Per Aadhaar
- I Have Only Year Of Birth In Aadhaar Card

Step4: After that click on Link Aadhaar.
Step5: Once the UIDAI is done with the verification process, your Aadhaar and PAN will be linked.
Step6: Your Aadhaar & PAN linking process will be successfully linked to it displays a message- “Aadhaar PAN linking is completed successfully”.
Important Note- There are some rare cases where your PAN Card and Aadhaar Card names are completely different from one another. This results in failing the linking process and hence by the time taxpayer are activated for changing the names in either of the two, PAN or Aadhaar.
How To Update Aadhaar Card Details Online
The online mode for updating Aadhaar Card details is a self-service method.
Step1: Check out the official web portal i.e; resident.uidai.gov.in
Step2: Under multiple Aadhaar sections, click on “Update Aadhaar Details (Online)”
Step3: After clicking on the link, you will be directed to a new page which shows “Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal” and the heading which shows “Login With Aadhaar”.
Step4: The resident had to enter their Aadhaar Number in the rectangular box provided.
Step5: After that enter the Text Verification (Required) as shown in the above image provided to you.
Step6: After completing the above steps or procedure, click on “Send OTP” which will be generated on your registered mobile number.
Please Note- Time-Based One Time Password (TOTP) is an automatically generated temporary password which can be used instead of SMS Based OTP.
Step7: Type the OTP received on your registered mobile number and submit for logging into your aadhaar account.
Please Note- OTP verification process is must and mandatory in order to avoid the chances of discrepancy, manipulation or errors.
Step8: A new page will boast which shows “Data Request Page”. Select the field that you want to update in your initial aadhaar card.
Step9: Choose your prescribed fields accordingly that you want to update and cross-check all the details as it will all be defamed in your new aadhaar card.
Step10: After rectifying all the details, submit the Aadhaar Update Details form. 14- digits unique URN (Update Request Number) will be generated.
Step11: Now select the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) service provider for viewing your information updated and hit the submit button.
Step12: The changes which are made by you need to validate by uploading the scanned copies of all that documents. For example- If the DOB (Date of Birth) printed on your initial aadhaar card is mentioned incorrectly, then a user needs to upload the copy or scanned ID proof of their DOB to be updated.
Step13: Finally you can download and print the copy of your updated aadhaar verification for future reference.

How To Validate PDF Digital Signatures On Eaadhar Online
The very first thing users need to do is to download their Eaadhar letter for validating the digital signatures on the Eaadhar card through the website eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. To know more about this, please follow the procedure given below:
Step1: The page will show “Validate Unknown” icon which is however valid for all the government services. Right click on that icon on your e- aadhaar letter and after that click on “Validate Signature”.
Step2: Click on “Signature Properties” after the new window appears on your screen as signature validation status window.
Step3: After that click on “Show Certificate”.
Step4: Now you need to clarify the certification path namely “CCA India 2011” which had been used while signing the document as it identifies the CCA (Controller of Certifying Authorities) India as the boss of a digital certificate.
Step5: Now you will redirect to a new window namely “Certificate Viewer”. Click the “Trust” icon & after that click on “Add To Trusted Certificates”.
Step6: Please give your answer as “OK” to any of the security questions that follows.
Step7: Another window will appear named as “Acrobat security”.
Step8: To execute the validation process, click on “Validate Signature”.
Who Can Apply For Aadhaar Card?
An individual who holds the Indian citizenship irrespective of the age & gender can apply for their Aadhaar Card which is free of cost. Any individual either foreigners, NRI’s (Non- resident Indians), PIO (Person of Indian Origin) who is not an Indian but had been residing in India for at least 182 days are provided with the unique identities and NOT with the Indian citizenship.
