  1. The UAN helpdesk link is not all opening, there by I am not able to update my incorrect name in UAN. Aslo, I submitted my offline application for name correction at EPFO Regional office in hyderabad. It has been more than one month since I submitted the application, I see there is not corrected name in my UAN account when I check it. Who will help me in this regard? The UAN helpdesk seems exists but it seems it not accessable, I have been trying to access it for a long time. My UAN: 1000564448442

      You should update your name registered with your EPF account. In order to change your name, you have to fill EPF Joint Declaration form.

    • Hello Dinesh,
      In order to change or correct your name in the EPF account. You have to fill in and submit a joint declaration form. The joint declaration form requires both you & your employer contribution along with suitable documents.

      The status of KYC will stay pending until your uploaded document are approved by the EMPLOYER.
      So, When your employer approves the same, Status of your uploaded document will be changed as “Approved by employer”. You will also receive SMS for the change.
      OR
      If your employer is not approving the same. Contact your employer with original documents in order to request him for online attestation. But, If the employer does not approve. You can lodge a complaint @ EPF Grievance Portal using this link – http://www.epfigms.gov.in/grievanceRegnFrm.aspx?csession=knh1N1pQzuE&

      In order to change/update your name. You can follow the given steps down below.

      • Visit UAN Portal.
      • Complete Login process
      • Click on the MANAGE tab and then “MODIFY BASIC DETAILS”
      • On new window, Enter your correct Name (as per Aadhar)
      • Click on “UPDATE DETAILS”.
      • Details will be now scanned with your Aadhar Details
      • Request will be transferred to the employer for further approvals
      • After approval, employer will forward it to the EPF office (online)
      • EPF authorities will then make corrections in your name

      You must now visit your regional EPF office with your problem and your establishment name. Tell EPFO authorities about your issue and soon they’ll search and will tell your records or problem that why it is showing “nothing found”.

    I recently raised a name correction request on the unified portal.
    As per current status, it is showing as below

    Accepted by employer
    Pending at PUNE field office

    So When Can I expect to get the correction done from PUNE field office or is there any way to contact them?
    Please help.

    I am finding difficulty and errors while activating my UAN.
    There is few mistake in my profile which is:
    1. Wrong DOB
    2. Mobile Number not given

      Don’t worry, we got you covered. Just follow some simple steps in order to update your Date of Birth in EPF Account.

      • Visit Unified Portal
      • Login and go to Manage Tab then click on the Modify Basic Details
      • After new window pops up, Fill in your correct details (as per your Aadhaar)
      • Your filled details will be now scanned with your data registered in UIDAI
      • After your filed information verified by UIDAI, your request will transfer to your employer for futher approvals
      • Once your employer approve the same, he/she will then transfer your request to the official EPFO authorites so that, they can make changes in your details

    I am facing ONLINE KYC PAN UPDATE lot of problem since 1 Month My UAN Name:SUBHAS P NANNURE BUT MY PAN CARD NAME:SUBHAS PARASHURAM NANNURE ITS SHOWING ERROR (Pan Verfication Failed.(Name Against UAN does not match with the Name in income tax department) sir, Actually My father Name P Meaning PARASHURAM Way to not get KYC. How to change UAN Name and pls guide.pls resolve as soon as possible Sir.

    • Hello Subhas,
      Many people are facing this issue of Pan Verification Failed, and in your case, your UAN Name is not correct. You have to update your UAN name using UAN Name Correction Method by login to Unified Portal. Once you update your UAN Name, The PAN Verification error will be no longer exist.

    • Helo Suresh,
      You should contact your previous employer in order to make updation in your service details (related to your working days) OR you can also contact your previous company’s HR department in order to do the same.

    • Hello Nagraj,
      You can update your Aadhar details by following the steps down below.

      • Go to the Unified Member Portal
      • Login using your login credentials i.e. UAN & Password
      • Go to the main menu click on the “MANAGE” tab and then select the “KYC” from the drop-down menu.
      • You will re-direct to a new window where you can Update Your Aadhar Details In UAN
      • Fill in the correct details (as per your aadhaar) and hit save
      • The KYC status will be shown as pending until your employer approve those recently updated details
      • Once your employer approve the same, the staus of pending will be changed to “Approved KYC”.
      • An SMS will be send you to your register mobile number about successfull updation of your Aadhaar details
